Safely Secured Anti-Theft Lockable Dog Collar

I've purchased this collar, the harness and the lead. Nothing puts my mind to rest more than being able to take my little dog with me and if having to go inside a store, she is locked securely outside. Little doge are stolen in Brisbane Qld regularly. She shouldn't have to stay home when I'm out walking and now she doesn't. They will not get this product off the dog. Or the harness. If they try, it will be so uncomfortable the dog will react in pain. This should alert others that this is not their dog. Get these products. They are without a doubt the best relief and confidence you can get that your dog is secure.

This is a pretty nice product. The best I have found so far and it’s the only deterrent to someone stealing your pet on the market other than a cellular collar which can easily be removed and thrown away.

Pros:
-It is very strong and resilient material with woven steal wire inside. I does come with a lock and 1 small plastic key.
- It’s cut proof by a knife or someone trying to quickly remove it.

Cons:
-The lock is made of simple plastic that can be cracked or or broken. IT SHOULD be made of something stronger like steal.
- There is only one small non-unique plastic key and NOT 2 real keys. It looks like something that can easily be replicated or forged by anyone crafty that wants your pup.
-There’s only one color (Black) :-(

I wish there was a combination lock offered for smaller high value targeted dogs like Frenchies…etc. Also it would be nice if there was an feature or extra attachment/holder you can purchase to insert an Apple AirTag to track your puppy. I had to buy an aftermarket one that bolted to this collar on Amazon which works fine though.

Overall this product is worth it for the time being. But I really hope Matt McShane the founder reads this post and works on version 2 with these upgrades. I would definitely be buying that quickly and tell all my friends/family if he did.

I had a very good experience when buying these collars along with a lead and lead splitter. I had an issue when trying to put in the 10% discount code into my order and also I wasn’t too sure on what size collar to get for my smaller dog, Matt was very helpful and generous in my experience of placing an order with Safely Secured.

Last year we invited a darling little Labrador girl to join our family. We bought a secure collar to take her to town and have the secure freedom to say hello to all passers by. She loved it, and so did the passers by. This year we were asked to look after a large golden retriever for busy friends. The perfect sized collar for our small girl was not sufficient for our large boy. We asked for a large collar, and it arrived safely. Just by changing the collar, we can take either of the dogs to town, and socialise safely outside of shops or offices. We know they will still be there when we return. Passers by love saying hello to dogs and fussing over them, so they, the dogs and we all benefit from the security. Thank you.

I ordered two of these collars over two weeks ago, and have yet to receive them, despite the tracking saying they were delivered to the right house. I checked: not even delivered to the correct country!! Avoid this product at all costs. I will be asking for a refund.

Update: I emailed Matt for a refund, which he did issue, however the customer service has been severely lacking. He even told me that he “doesn’t think I deserve to own” his products anyway, after reading my review. Very unprofessional.

I was excited for this product because leaving a dog alone even for a moment in a city can be risky. However, the lock has little function. It can be easily unlocked with any key-shaped object (e.g., a screwdriver or house key) or coin that can fit in the "key" hole. Even without the key, the collar is easily adjustable when it's on the dog's neck, meaning it can be easily loosened and lifted off the dog regardless of the lock.

Great products, better than expected and what a relief to find an Australian company to do shop with as well.

We brought this collar with high hopes that it would work, but you can unlock the collar with a knife or a screwdriver or something like that. just hope that no one thinks of doing it

The lockable collar and lead give me so much reassurance when I need to leave my dog outside the GP surgery or outside a shop. And it means that she gets more walks instead of being left at home all the time and only getting one walk each day.

This is a great product and probably the best customer service experience I’ve ever had.

Truly grateful for this product, I think it is the only one of its kind out there! I bought this for a dear friend whom is elderly and has a beloved purebred. She was so happy with it, she had concerns while out with the dog a suspicious vehicle driving slow past her home. When she is out and about it gives her peace of mind that her companion is safe. At first I was afraid it wasn't big enough but fits just fine I was glad to hear. This company let me know from the get go they were there if I needed them and for the dog lover I am. I thank them and recommend this collar.

The product is effective and significantly safer than regular collars for the intended purpose. It could be further improved by incorporating metal for the closing and connecting parts, as well as making the lock and key out of metal, along with a stronger steel wire to enhance durability and strength. Given the product’s purpose, a higher price for these enhancements would be justified.

Great product. I have the Anti theft lead as well and together I now feel safe that no one can steal my dog (dachshund) while he is wearing them.

Great quality. Only complaint is the lock is plastic and the part that’s separated and held together with, another plastic piece… was hoping it’d be metal

I only wish there was a theft proof place to slip in an AirTag . Having to manufacture one out of metal plates riveted front & back through the adjustable size overlap. That also solves the problem of the collar being able to be loosened enough to slip it over the dogs head.

I reside in the United States and I was looking for a product like this everywhere. This was the only place where I was able to find exactly what I needed. Not too long ago, my dad, who lives in Colombia, lost his Belgian Malinois. He was only able to find it thanks to a social media community. Matt was so kind answering all my questions and requests.
